I am very thankful to have been raised in a Christian family. When I was five years old, I remember being convicted of my sinful nature during a Sunday school lesson and going home in tears. My mother sat down with me and explained to me through the scriptures how Jesus died on the cross to pay for all my sins. That day I repented of my sins and trusted in Jesus to be my Savior. Throughout my middle school and high school years I was faithful to attend church and participate in many ministries, but I often did these things because it was what I was expected to do. It was during a youth conference, at the age of sixteen, that God truly convicted me of my apathy towards Him and my need to commit my life fully to Him. Following that experience, my desire to dig deeper into the scriptures and develop a more consistent time in my devotions and prayer life flourished.
Music has been one of the greatest blessings that God has placed in my life. I started learning the piano and violin at a young age and was able to participate in a variety of music ministries at my church as well as in other orchestras and choirs in my community.
After completing high school, God directed me to Pensacola Christian College to study nursing. During my summer breaks from college, I had the amazing opportunity to be a counselor at the Wilds Christian Camp, take various mission trips, and work as a home care assistant. It was through these experiences that God began to give me a heart for evangelism. After graduating with my nursing degree, the door opened for me to work as a NICU nurse in my home state of Oregon. Throughout that time the Lord showed me the importance of being faithful to serve Him in whatever mission field He placed me in, even if that was the hospital. As I continued to gain experience as a nurse, God prompted me to return to the Wilds Christian Camp as a camp nurse. It was during my time at camp that the opportunity to travel with the Frazor Team as their violinist was presented to me. It will be a privilege to share the gospel and look for ways to be a blessing and encouragement to each church we minister to along the way.
“Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.”
