I was brought up in church with a strong knowledge of the stories of the Bible; in response to the teaching I had received, I asked the Lord to save me at the age of five years old. However, because of various trials and sinful responses to trials, I struggled to personalize the truths I knew in my head in order to grow further. As a teen, I went to the The Wilds Christian Camp, and there received the counsel that I desperately needed to deal with past hurts, renew my heart and mind, and began to change my desires toward the ministry he would have for me in the future. I then quickly became heavily involved in the music and children’s ministries in the church, and I served at various camps first as a counselor and then staff leader collectively for 8 years. I was privileged to be involved in music through singing and piano during those years, and quickly fell in love with the ministry. This past year, I continued to the live and volunteer at the Wilds where I had worked the last few years, but I taught 5th and 6th grade at a local Christian school nearby. While on summer break working again at the Wilds Christian Camp this past summer, I had the chance to meet the Frazor family. I had a chance to learn more about the ministry after summer and soon after joined the team. While this was not an opportunity that I had expected God to bring into my path, I am excited for the opportunity to serve in this area of ministry and see how God continues to mold my heart after Him.
